Tips on what's going on and how to get around Walt Disney World

 

 

Now that the hectic holiday season is behind us the parks at Walt Disney World to tend to thin out a bit during early January. The exception is during the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend which this year will be held January 6 - 9.

There are also deals on stays at resorts and the weather (barring the rare Central Florida cold snap) is usually downright enjoyable. Although not a popular time for vacations with school age children (they did just have a couple weeks off of school), this is a great time for couples without children to enjoy Walt Disney World.

Events that are ongoing and coming up at Walt Disney World this month include;

1/6 - 1/9- Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend- This is one race weekend where the smiles easily outnumber the miles. So mark your calendar now to run in the Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend. It's the only place in the world where you can earn the exclusive, and highly coveted Disney Medals.
