Last admission is 8 p.m. Thanks to this year's sponsors, who include Bright House Networks, Health First Health Plans, Healthy Start Coalition of Brevard, Ron Jon Cape Caribe Resort, State Farm Agent Dan Adovasio, The Avenue Viera, and Viera Lions Club, admission will be $5 for everyone each Saturday night starting at 5 p.m. Admission is free for Zoo members.

The aviary and Paws On area are closed during Summer Saturday Nights. However, parents can sign their children up for special night hikes in June and July that include Paws On. While your child enjoys an evening adventure at the Zoo, you can reintroduce date night or tackle your honey-do list! Each night hike includes games, crafts, animal encounter, Zoo safari, and pizza for dinner.
ARCTIC BLAST TUESDAYS
Don’t miss a chance to experience an icy “arctic blast” on Tuesday afternoons in July at Brevard Zoo. Every Tuesday at 1:00 p.m., Brevard Zoo will drop six giant ice cubes into the water play area of the brand new Paws On exhibit. Each ice cube is roughly 3 feet tall by 2 feet wide by 1 foot thick and weighs 300 pounds. The ice will melt quickly in the summer heat, so guests should come on time to get the full experience.
BACK TO SCHOOL SAFARI
The Brevard Schools Foundation, in conjunction with Brevard Zoo, will host a Back to School Safari at Brevard Zoo on Saturday, July 30, which includes admission to the zoo, for children who registered and one adult, and free school supplies. All public school students who were on the free or reduced lunch program at the end of the 2010-2011 school year are eligible to register to attend.
Families must pre-register to participate in this special event. To make reservations for the Back to School Safari, call (321) 633-1000 ext. 474, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Deadline to register is July 22, if it does not fill up prior to that date. Additional adults and non-registered children may accompany the registered families at a reduced rate which will be collected at check-in.
