Boards & Waves Expo in Review

 

The weekend of April 17-18 saw a mass convergence of surfing industry pros and several hundred locals support the surfing community by taking part in or attending the Boards and Waves Expo at Cocoa Expo.

Local shapers put on demos in a portable shaping room (Don't we all wish we had one of those in our garages??), many local businesses had products on display, and there was a general feeling of comraderie amongst the crowd as the surfing community came together for a weekend of fun.

Among the local supporters were; Allen White Surfboards (Yeah I used to ride a RAW board growing up in Virginia Beach), The Cocoa Beach High Surf Team, the East Coast Surfing Hall of Fame, Firewire Surfboards, Glenn Klugel Surfboards, Neilson Surfboards, Ocean Sports World, Ricky Carroll Surfboards, and Surf Express.

Let's hope next years Boards and Waves Expo is an even bigger success.
