Florida Women of the Waves

The Cocoa Beach Surf Museum, 4275 North Atlantic Ave. Cocoa Beach (located in the Ron Jon Watersports Bldg.) will be opening their newest exhibit on Saturday, July 24, from 7 to 10 PM.
The exhibit will feature important Florida female surfers from the 60's up to and including the newest up and comers in the sport. While there, expect to meet some of them and learn more about the impact women have made in surfing. The event is free and will feature live music, light refreshments and is open to the public.
The CBSM will also sponsor a free women's surf movie, Dear and Yonder, on Fri. July 23, 7 PM at the Cocoa Beach Library, 550N.Brevard Ave. C.B.
On Saturday morning, July 24, from 9 to 12 AM the CBSM will host a "Florida Women of the Waves" surfing social on the beach behind the International Palms Resort in Cocoa Beach. All women are welcome. For more information, go to www.cocoabeachsurfmuseum.org or call Melody at 321 537 2045.
